Y2K Checklist

The following Microsoft technologies are used by Aspen Workflow.  Each are certified as Y2K compliant with recommended use action.  For all Aspen Workflow code, the recommended action has been taken.  Aspen clients who have licensed Aspen Workflow for intranet use are responsible for ensuring that the recommended action (noted below) has been taken:

• Internet Information Server (English) - Win NT:

• SQL Server 7.0 (English) - Win NT
  - no action required
  
• SQL Server 6.5 (English) - Win NT:
  - required:  install NT Service Pack 5
  
• Windows NT Server 4.0 SP5 (English) - Win NT: 
  - required:  install NT Option Pack 4 (done for all clients already)
  - required:  install Transaction Server 2.0 (done for all clients already)
  - required:  install NT Service Pack 5
  - not required:  NNTP is not used by Aspen Workflow
  - not required:  ADSI is not used by Aspen Workflow
  - not required:  Frontpage 97 is not used by Aspen Workflow
  - not required:  Internet Locator Service is not used by Aspen Workflow
  - not required:  Site Server Express is not used by Aspen Workflow
  
• Internet Explorer (32-bit) 5.0 (English) - 32-Bit Win
  - required:  install Internet Explorer 5.0
  - required:  verify latest MFC40.DLL file is updated (in accordance with the link above)
  - impact:  this error could affect date calculations performed by javascript
  
• Netscape Navigator
  - no action required
